The first and only gay and lesbian specific accommodation in Central Australia and for a distance in excess of 1,000km out from Alice Springs. The property consists of 1 deluxe air-conditioned guest room with queen bed, private en-suite, bar 'fridge, TV, radio etc. to suit singles or couples. The property also has 1 stand-alone self-contained 3 bedroom home. This guest suite provides accommodation for up to 5 guests travelling together (3 bedrooms). Air-conditioned, fully furnished and comes complete with kitchen & bathroom. TV, radio, complimentary beverages including chilled bottled water.
The owner, Phil, was recently the recipient of the 2008 Central Australian Tourism Industry Achiever Award for his efforts in promoting Alice Springs and Central Australia to the domestic and global GLTB communities.

This year’s Industry Achiever is awarded to Phil Walcott from The Rainbow Connection for his outstanding contribution and encouragement to the local tourism industry. Phil is a strong tourism ambassador for the region, who opened the Rainbow Connection in Alice Springs in 1999, since this time Phil has worked closely with Tourism Central Australia and Tourism NT to promote the wonderland concept and Central Australia. Phil initiated the promotion and joint advertising opportunities for the Rainbow corridor between Adelaide and Darwin and the Rainbow triangle linking Broome, Cairns and Adelaide.
